  • José Martí's Native House: José Martí's native house is a place that you do should stop to visit. José Martí is the Cuban National Hero. In this museum you can sightsee all around the castle and go to the top of the lighthouse.

  • Museum of the Revolution: Located in the former Presidential Palace before 1959, the Museum of the Revolution contains the whole history of the Cuban Revolution since its beginnings until the present time.

  • Museum of Tobacco: The whole history and elaboration process of the best cigars in the world, the Cuban cigars, will be within your reach when you visit this museum.

  • Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña: Located at the other side of the Bay of Havana and next to the Castle of the three kings of Morro, the fortress  "San Carlos de La Cabaña" is the biggest and more expensive of the castles built by the Spaniards in Cuba. Inside of it you will appreciate its impressive architecture, armaments used at that time and various interesting museums.

Every night at 9:00 PM takessoldados.jpg (29992 bytes) place in this castle a traditional ceremony that consists in a military march. Soldiers dressed with uniforms of the times of the colony shoot an old Spanish artillery cannon. During the times of the colony the shot of this cannon marked the time to closed the walls that surrounded the city of Havana.

  • José Martí's Memorial: Memorial made in honor of the Cuban National Hero, José Martí, in the first floor of the monument dedicated in his honor at the Revolution Square. Place where the Cuban President, Fidel Castro, has traditionally pronounced his speeches to the Cuban people.

  • National Museum of Arts: In this museum you can appreciate the work of the most distinguished Cuban artists as Wilfredo Lam, Amelia Peláez, Menocal, Carlos Enriquez and many others, as well as a sample of Universal Arts. If you are a lover of paintings, sculpture and the ceramic work, don't miss a visit to this museum that contains the whole Cuban cultural patrimony in those disciplines.
